After a two-week West Coast road trip in 2018, I knew I wanted to return to the Pacific Northwest. When the pandemic hit and life’s uncertainties flashed before our eyes, I made a commitment to myself: within the next year, I would make the move. With careful planning, determination, and a lot of excitement, I shipped my belongings and drove 1,700+ miles to Portland with my cat, Clyde.
