The treehouse I’ve always imagined—my vision of “Contentment”—is finally here. Sunlight drifts through the open-air bathroom, casting its shadow on the clawfoot tub, where I cleanse and honor my body in filtered mountain spring water. The outdoor sink brings joy to my day, where I wash the dishes and tidy the grounds. Multiple levels stretch upward, each perfect for writing, observing, reflecting, being… and the animals, in all their glory, roam freely & bask in the sunlight.
“Healing the body, like knowing ourselves, takes patience, intention, and gentle attention.” — The Good Trade
Someone told me today at the market that “Langlois is the center of the Universe.” Whether that’s to be true or not, I felt Mother Universe speaking through them—reminding me where I belong, returning to my center.
My healing journey began in 2021, but here, right now, a new chapter starts. I’m not sure what it will look like, but it feels grounding, peaceful, and comforting.
I trust myself, my body, my faith, and God.
